Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to become a part of a team working in an exciting and fast paced area of on-line marketing. We are looking for a helpdesk specialist to support our growing, highly mobile, Windows-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, extensive knowledge in supporting Widows, some experience with Windows Server administration, and desire to learn and grow their skills. This candidate will need to be highly organized and able to prioritize assigned tasks and projects in a rapidly changing environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented professional to support the needs of IT and development Team at Dotomi. A strong candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
- Strong working knowledge of Windows XP / Windows 7
- Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Dell laptops & desktops
- Experience working with Active Directory User maintenance and creation, group policies, resource sharing, permissions & ownership, remote system administration, and Windows DFS
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 particularily Outlook 2007, message archiving and management
- Experience working with and maintaining a variety of system images
- Experience supporting VPN connections usng the Cisco VPN Client / Shrewsoft VPN Client
- Experience working with Exchange 2003/2007
- Experience working with Windows Server 2003/2008
- Experience working with AVG virus software
- Experience working with Barracuda SPAM Firewalls
- Experience working with Cisco WAPs
- Knowledge of basic TCP/IP troubleshooting
- Strong sense of customer service, ownership, and accountability
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- MCP, A+ or proven real world experience
Responsibilities
- Provide primary support for local and remote Windows users
- Provide primary support for Blackberry devices and Wireless infrastructure
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot new / existing hardware and software
- Develop and maintain system documentation / asset management / troubleshooting FAQs
- Support Windows based backup & recovery
- Create and maintain system images
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues
- Perform or assist with infrastructure management (Upgrades, maintenance, etc)
- Work with users to recommend technical solutions to business problems
- Complete projects as assigned
- Ensure system availability thru best practices
- Ensure system availability thru best practices
- Participate in disaster recovery & business continuity planning
- Participate in system design and evaluation
