Position Summary

The Dotomi Senior Account Manager (SAM) focuses primarily on managing the day-to-day client relationship and account - campaign design, execution, launch, optimization and pacing to meet business objectives. The SAM works to become the clients’ day to day trusted business advisor working in close conjunction with the Client Development Director. The SAM will typically work on larger more strategic clients and is expected to provide a higher level of marketing proficiency. The SAM is expected to drive client projects by leading an internal cross-functional team in close collaboration with Dotomi clients. The SAM will consult clients/Account Managers on using the Dotomi platform "best practices" to run successful tests/campaigns and may act as 'go to/team lead' for other Account Managers.

Essential Job Functions/Activities

  • Relationship Management - Understand client needs and objectives, manage client expectations & create Raving Fans! - 5%
  • Communication Internal/External – Provide a high level of responsiveness (internal/client), emotional intelligence, presentation and writing skills and proactively communicate at all levels of the organization internal/external. - 10%
  • Campaign Level Strategy & Tactics - Design and drive successful campaigns, creative tests and campaign level client recommendations/optimization to meet business objectives. - 15%
  • Account Intelligence & Profitability - Monitor (daily), collect, analyze and communicate client results, successfully balancing the Dotomi/Client ROI. - 25%
  • Project Management & Prioritization – Coordinate and lead teams across departments/clients to get things done, including campaign launches, trouble-shooting and problem solving. Proactive and goal-oriented prioritization across clients/projects with the ability to understand the work, service levels and handle multiple projects while consistently meeting objectives. - 30%
  • Subject Matter Expertise – Demonstrate proficiency in Dotomi/Domain product and testing results knowledge and apply it to client implementations using the Dotomi platform. - 5%
  • (Sr.) Problem Solving & Team Lead/Coach - Identify areas of improvement in dept/cross-dept, act on them and add/suggest them for cross-organizational improvement. Coach other Account Managers in their role. - 10%

Minimum Job Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional to support the needs of the of our clients. A strong candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years, preferred 7+ years.
  • Online experience.
  • Advertising/Marketing background and/or experience.
  • Proven excellence in client relations/service, communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • 'Can do' attitude – Self starter, who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Track record of working across an organization to get things done.
  • Excellent project management and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and communicate client results.
  • Ability to learn quickly and think strategically + identify areas of improvement and act on them.
  • Understanding of campaign testing methods + iterative optimization process to drive results.
  • Database, segmentation and/or targeting experience - Use of targeting tools and implementation.
  • Experience on marketer side and/or serving clients in industries such as: catalog, publishing, financial, retail and ecommerce.
